Our seeds are growing... A LOT!

 Sorry for the poor quality of the picture, but the kids were soooo excited to see the tremendous growth of their seeds since Friday. This cucumber seeding has developed long roots! Soon these little seedlings will be ready to come home to find a 'home' in your garden!

We also checked on our daffodils that we started last week. We are doing an experiment to see whether plants can survive if their basic needs are not met. Check out the results so far!

We started our maps unit Monday and I was thrilled with how much they already know about maps! We'll be learning about all the ways to describe where we live in the world- our planet, continent, country, state, town, and street.
