A Visit From Stinky

 Austin brought in a baby turtle that he found on his grandma's sidewalk. We used our senses to describe his shell and talked about his habitat and what he likes to eat; we learned that he's an herbivore.  We loved Austin's name for him - Stinky!

 After reading The Paperbag Princess, we worked in teams to brainstorm character traits of the three characters in the book. 

 Then we put our ideas on each character poster.

We came up with LOTS of character traits!
