Students were able to play some literacy games on our computers! Some are even taking AR tests on the computers!
Students have been placed in Word Study groups and are learning how to classify words according to sound and pattern.
One literacy activity we do is spelling our sight words with magnetic letters. We can also make new words using our word families each week!
Students did a great job sequencing events from a story, using sequencing words.
They loved creating Fall trees from lunch sacs and tissue paper, after learning about the many changes that Fall brings. We also made sun-catcher leaves for our windows! 
We can practice sight words and writing sentences on our large whiteboard in the classroom library. They love to 'play teacher' and give each other practice spelling tests!
